About Us

David has devoted his professional life to create, develop and operate businesses in the DC metropolitan area. Founded in 1986, David started Urban Adventures Companies (UAC) a Washington, DC based lifestyle company of three integrated and affiliated businesses: Health & Wellness, Beauty & Style, and Dining & Entertainment.

Previously, David was Founder and President of DAKOTA Nightclub/MONTANA Cafe. The highly successful restaurant/bar/nightclub opened in 1987 in the Adams Morgan neighborhood of Washington, DC. Prior to that, David was the Assistant Director, Project Finance, for The Rouse Company (now General Growth Properties).

David received a Master’s in Business Administration from Harvard University and a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of North Carolina as a Morehead-Cain Scholar.

Aaron joined the Urban Adventures team in 2006 to launch the VIDA Fitness brand and begin our expansion throughout the Washington DC, Virginia, and Maryland region. He subsequently established the Aura spa, Penthouse Pool and Lounge, SweatBox, and VIDA Pilates brands to further develop the company’s foothold in highly sophisticated lifestyle concepts. Aaron continues to fine tune our vast menu of services, amenities, and products to remain at the forefront of our respective industries.

Aaron received his Juris Doctor (JD) from Capital University Law School and his Bachelor of Arts degree from Purdue University. He also holds two Master’s Degrees from Ohio University in Sports Administration and Coaching Education.
